Membership Overview
Thanks for your interest in becoming a new member of the Kern County Chapter for Society of Human Resource Management (KCSHRM). The Society for Human Resource Management is an organization for Human Resource professionals. Our primary objective is to foster an educational environment, which is facilitated by the exchange of information and ideas.
Regular membership in the Kern County Chapter of SHRM is open to any person who is and has been regularly and actively engaged in a bonafide professional or educational capacity within the Human Resources Management profession. Kern County Chapter of SHRM is a non-profit organization.
You can look forward to professional development through informative meetings with professional speakers at both the chapter luncheon meetings as well as the annual conference.
Monthly Meetings
You will have the opportunity to network with other professionals at our monthly meetings and annual conference. Monthly chapter meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month, beginning at 11:30 a.m. and concluding by 1 p.m. A wonderful lunch is provided. The cost for lunch is $18 for SHRM members/students and $26.00 for non-members. All members are encouraged to bring guests!
